It is time to say goodbye…
It brings great sadness to announce that after 15 years in business, we said goodbye to our beautiful location on 67th Street. Over the past few years, the restaurant business has faced overwhelming challenges of rising rent, increased labor expenses, tariffs on imported goods, and unreasonable insurance premiums. These factors, along with unsuccessful negotiations for the renewal of a sustainable and fair lease, have placed a significant burden on us, emotionally and financially.
Restaurant work is not easy.
It takes commitment, thick skin, and a good sense of humor.
But is the work we chose and love!
We would like to thank our remarkable staff, both past and present, whose dedication and professionalism have been essential The Leopard’ story. Our team have played a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and have helped us foster a welcoming and delicious environment, allowing us to provide countless wonderful moments to everyone who walked through our doors. Thank you, from the heart!
To our Guests…
We are immensely grateful to everyone who has ever dined with us, whether you have been a loyal patron for years or only recently discovered The Leopard. We would not be here if weren’t for you! Your support has been the cornerstone of our business! Over the years, you have entrusted us with some of your most cherished moments: birthday celebrations, graduations, first dates, marriage proposals, engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, intimate wedding receptions, and many other completely routine celebrations of life. We are truly humbled and honored to have had the privilege of serving you and hope to continue this amazing relationship we’ve nurtured over the years. Grazie!
We treasure every moment spent together with our guests and staff, and the memories we have created will remain with us forever. Thank you for making The Leopard not just a restaurant, but a true community.
And hope to continue sharing unforgettable experiences with you at our Midtown locations, Il Gattopardo restaurant and Mozzarella & Vino enoteca, both on 54th Street across from MoMA.
What an incredible journey it has been!
